Outfit Buddy guide
How to build a weather-based packing list
A useful packing list starts with more than the destination name. The expected temperature range, rain, trip length, activities and how far away the trip is all change what belongs in the suitcase.
Start with the temperature range
Daily highs alone can be misleading. A trip can have warm afternoons and cool mornings, so layers often matter more than one heavy or one light outfit.
Check rain and wind
Rain can change both outerwear and footwear. Wind can make mild temperatures feel cooler and can make a light layer more useful.
Match the trip type
A business trip, a city break and a relaxed leisure trip may share the same forecast but need different quantities and clothing categories.
Respect forecast confidence
Exact daily forecasts are only available so far in advance. For a later trip, prepare the stable basics first, then refine weather-sensitive items when the forecast window gets closer.
Who Outfit Buddy is for
Outfit Buddy is for travelers who want a practical starting point, people who tend to overpack, and anyone who wants the forecast translated into clothing decisions rather than another list of weather numbers.
